Dreams 2 Reality

 My name is Arion Vanzego, was born in Maryland but grew up in multiple states due to my parents being active in the military when I was at a young age. Early on, I was blessed to be introduced to a number of different cultures and environments because of this. It hasn't resonated with me till recently, how those experiences have helped shape my aspirations that have bloomed during the course of my life so far. My parents have always advocated to me the idea of having a great variety of skills, knowledge, interests, and just overall experiences that can be suitable at any period of time. This had led to my involvement in a variety of extracurricular activities including sports, music, and arts since an early age.

Fast forward to June of 2018, I have just graduated high school and have committed to Stevenson University to pursue a degree in Marketing, with a minor in fashion design. As most young students may be able to relate, high school was a period of time that I started to self-identify who I was as an individual and began to distinguish my purpose. My curiosity and courage always drove me to better myself, as in most cases, has opened many doors for me. In contrast, it sometimes backfired on me as most my goals at that time were set with no real structure, just always having the drive to elevate myself with anything I found interesting or promising which sometimes had me lost in my journey. Through all the obstacles I had to advance past and achievements that I worked for and surpassed, nonetheless, they were all lessons to be learned and stepping stones to my next chapter in life.

Going into the fall semester of my freshman year of college, I had just started my Youtube channel and began to expand my love for arts as a whole. I've always seen Youtube pass it's monetary value, more as an unconstrained platform for creators to be able to display their art or craft in a way that they want to be revealed to their audience. Upon creating the channel, I had a vision of being able to display my wide variety of interests through videos that displayed my skills as well. This set me apart from most other channels I knew of as I quickly gained liking from multiple different audiences. Approaching my junior year, I made the decision to drop out of school and pursue my vision of displaying my craft and love for arts through self entrepreneurship. I understood the consequences of leaving school as I felt that the program and school as a whole wasn't best suitable for me. Also, understanding that going through with school wasn't necessarily my only option to work towards my vision. No longer a student of an university, I became a student of myself as I inventively equipped skills and knowledge on my craft. This eventually led to the birth of Flourish Productions.

On July 28th, 2019 at 9:58 am, I began to jot down some vivid mental notes in my phone. First piece reads, "My marketing firm will be a platform for young aspiring artists who can advertise and help businesses with their marketing schemes and strategies...". At the time, I didn't truly understand the power of manifestation. Starting from watching videos on Youtube, envisioning being on the other side of the screen to now, planting seeds to create my own platform for other young artists and creators, lessons valuable to life can be revealed in often unexpected ways. Beginning of 2020, I created Flourish Productions and started to work immensely within photography and videography. I've created a business venture that's led to many connections and partnerships with other businesses and creators. Wrapping up the year 2020, one main lesson I have learned and will forever stand on is, never letting fear obstruct your vision. So much work, energy, and love has been put into Flourish so far, I'm nothing but grateful for the journey and excited to witness what's next to come, the sky is truly the limit.
